Becoming an OSL Member

We welcome people from all Christian denominations to gather with us in a spirit of unity and openness. You need not be a member to participate in most OSL activities but the best way to explore the healing prayer ministry with us and to discern God's calling for you is to enroll. The first step is to apply for Associate Membership which comes with access to materials and resources from OSL about this ministry, such as Sharing magazine and an OSL study guide of 26 accounts in the Bible where Jesus healed individuals. You may learn through these, among other things, individually or as part of a chapter group (recommended).  If you feel called to become inducted as a full Member, you must complete the required learning components -- such as the study guide and reading 3 books of your choice from an OSL reading list. Induction is a real blessing for you and others!

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you... I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me."
-- John 17: 20-21, 23

FEES
There are annual fees for membership ($45 for a new member); discounts are available for enrolling for multiple years in advance, and for couples enrolling together.

HOW TO APPLY
Before applying we ask that you contact someone from the chapter so we can tell you more about us and the healing ministry, and answer any questions you may have.

When you're ready, you may apply online or by mailing in a registration form. When you register, be sure to select a chapter that is closest to where you live (we are the Washington DC National Capital Chapter). You may also call the main OSL office toll-free at (877) 492-5222.

(Note that the chapter information on the main OSL website under "Washington DC" may not be updated; please see the "Maryland" chapter page instead, or see our CONTACT US page on this local site.)
