When and Where We Meet & Pray

Prayer Meetings
We pray for each other, plan activities, share news about workshops, and discuss books we are studying together. OSL also has a wonderful biblical study guide/workbook/DVD set of 26 instances in the Bible where Jesus healed individuals.  

Second Sunday of each month from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.at All Saints Church (ASC)

  • Unless otherwise notified, our 2nd Sunday prayer meetings and main events occur at All Saints Church (ASC; Episcopal).  ASC co-sponsors and hosts us but our chapter and OSL are independent from ASC.  Both front and back entrances are wheel-chair accessible and an elevator is available indoors -- level 1 is the main floor while Ground is the downstairs and parking level. 

    MEETINGS:  We gather downstairs (Ground) -- enter through the back door to the church at parking lot level.
    EVENTS:  We gather on the level 1 (Main), usually in the Great Hall.
    PARKING:  A small church parking lot is normally sufficient for attending meetings but street parking is also available on the sides of the church.

    DIRECTIONS (see map below)

  • From Chevy Chase Circle: take Western Avenue westbound, then right onto Oliver Street at first traffic light, then first right into the church parking lot.
  • From Wisconsin Avenue: take Western Avenue eastbound, then left onto Oliver Street at traffic light at All Saints Church; then first right into the church parking lot.
  • From the Metro: take the Red Line to Friendship Heights/Wisconsin Ave. and walk up Western Ave. about 10-15 minutes; a number of buses also run on Western Avenue. ASC is on the left across from the Baptist Church.
